In the meantime, Sydney Australia’s, Bag Raiders have taken over my mp3 player.

Flight Facilities have done an amazing cover of there single, turbo love, that makes me want to drink Italian coffee and grow a soul patch.

Todays word is “sexual harrassment”

Sexual harassment

I havent heard any new good music recently so figured I would go to the vaults on this one. Enjoy!

Sexual harrassment is real people! And they come in the form of disco/punk/funk circa 1980’s. This stuff is so reminiscent of the music that is being produced today. Yet somehow 80 times better.

This golden classic later sparked a chart topping cover from the one and only Egyptian Lover.
Sexual Harrassment – I need a freak

One to drop at every house party you ever attend.
Sexual Harrassment – If I Gave You a Party

The guys over at everythingisterrible puts it all in perspective with this little gem they found in the sexucational vault.

Don Diablo bangs Master Shortie at the Gunfight

Posted in Music with tags , , , on June 9, 2009 by Cassett

good luck at the gunfight
First up I wanna post some tracks that I just cant get out of my head or off my playlist recently. I know its been blogged to death but these guys are amazing! Think Ratatat vs Kavinsky vs Crystal Castles. They have that retro sound but are so amazingly futuristic, I cant get enough! Cha cha check it!
good luck at the gunfight – Kimberly

good luck at the gunfight – Puma

Also,
English producer/rapper, Master Shortie, is set to drop his debut album late July. With his internet buzz, producer creds, and english Kanye West-like swagger, the album is sure to be a chart topper(at least in the U.K.).
So we are sure to see a whole load of remixes as the singles start being released.

Don Diablo is on fire with the first of these remixes… and in true Diablo fashion he bangs it hard! Enjoy!

Hot noizes for happy hands and happy feet.

Posted in Music with tags , , , on June 6, 2009 by Cassett

hot noizes

Soooo.. Hot noizes just remixed Dada life’s very catchy happy hands and happy feet track. I can’t get my hands(or feet) on the mp3 anywhere so I don’t think they have officially released it yet. But I’m sure it will be all over hype machine in a few days.

Here is there myspace if you want to check it.

Hot noizes have also done another Dada Life remix that is pretty fuckin heavy and rad. Glitchy and bass heavy is the name of the game on this banger.
Dada Life – The Great Fashionista Swindle(hot noizes remix)

Another remix that we have been LOVING from Hot Noizes is a very beautiful Imogen Heap remix. The beginning doesn’t seem to fit the rest of the track but keep listening………………….

New Sony PSP Go leaks before E3

Posted in Gaming with tags , , , , on June 1, 2009 by Cassett

_45850010_ss_preview_psp_go_005.bmp

Sony just announced the latest version of their hand held gamer, PSP Go. It looks like they completely redesigned it to be an even more portable device. The Go now sports a slide-out mechanism which hides the controls of the gaming console beneath the screen.
There will be NO umd drive and it will have a 16 gigabyte hard drive resulting in 43% weight loss. The point of this is so that all games and movies can be directly downloaded onto the hard drive of the device, via the PSN Store. It sounds like a good idea but if they dont make every title for the psp available from the PSN Store it would be pointless to buy one. Sony is not pulling the psp-3000 but will be selling on the shelfs with the psp go. We cannot wait to see it live!

Check out the video below that already leaked!

Grizzly bear’s two weeks gets remixed + Kid cudi – poke her face

Posted in Music with tags , , , , , , , on May 31, 2009 by Cassett

Sup kiddies? I have a couple tracks that I have been meaning to share. I know these are a couple weeks old but they’re still worth sharing.

Kid Cudi – Poke Her Face(ft. Kanye West and Common) which will be renamed, Make Her Say and released as Cudi’s new single, is a hilarious play on Lady Gaga’s poker face club anthem. Kanye West and Common both take a verse on this track to sing about, well, face poking. A-track also cameos with a few scratches on the track. Since this will be released as Cudi’s second single, I’m sure it will be played as much as his tremendously popular first single, Day and Night.

Second up, we have a remix of one of my favorite bands right now, Grizzly Bear.

Grizzly Bear – Two Weeks(Fred Falke Remix)

Fred Falke takes a laidback electro glide through the bands first single, Two Weeks.  Still keeping the amazing harmonies and feel of the song but uping the tempo a bit to make it very dance worthy.  The remix makes two weeks sound like a Tears For Fears tune, but not in a bad way at all.

Speaking of Tears For Fears, heres a hilarious literal take on there hit Head over Heals. Just watch it, I swear you won’t regret it and will be laughing your ass off. I know I did.
